Birchbox : April

After my March Birchbox, I felt so spoiled. I loved all of my samples and was very pleased with the results.
So, my hopes were set extremely high for my April box.

  1.  Beauty Protector : Protect & Detangle  {Great for all hair types, this nourishing elixir perform seven hair-healing functions. Among them : locking in color, adding shine, and instantly detangling. Full-size $21.95} This product is GREAT! My mom received this in a previous box, so I got to try it beforehand, and I completely fell in love with it. After a few squirts, my hair is ready to be brushed out and styled! I would recommend this product–
  2.  Supergoop! : Daily Correct SPF 35 CC Cream {This next-generation CC cream provides corrective coverage and triple protects against UVA, UVB, and infrared-A rays. Full-size $32.} First off, I was slightly disappointed with the sample size. I tried this product for the first time this morning and it seems like it is a good product, I just don’t know if I will be able to get a good enough ‘review’ based off of the sample size. I hope that it does work, as I do need corrective coverage, but after only 2 uses, will you really be able to tell? Maybe I can get a few more uses to determine!
  3.  LAFACE Laboratories : BEAUX YEUX Beautiful Eyes Concentrate Intensive {A hefty dose of hyaluronic acid amps up moisture levels, while an advanced peptide complex halts wrinkle formation. Full-size $160.} This must be a joke. No, I have not tried the product, but based off of the sample size I have already made my decision. If a product cost $160, I would personally think that you would give a ‘bigger sample’ so prospective buyers could fall in love with the product. Rather than only getting a 1 time use. Also, I wouldn’t spend $160 on this so…for me…this is a no-go.
  4.  Caudalie : Devine Oil {Made with a blend of grape, argan, hibiscus, and sesame oils, this multitasking wonder gives skin, hair, and nails a gorgeous glow. Full-size $9-$49.} I just opened my sample of this an it smells great! So, I am anxious to try this product. I have never been a fan of oils due to the ‘reside-sticky feeling’ it leaves on your skin, yet this doesn’t seem to be that way!
  5. Lifestyle Extra : Hail Merry : Chocolate Macaroons {It tastes too good to be true : These decadent treats are raw, vegan, gluten-free, and made with only natural, non-GMO ingredients. Full-size $5.} I have not tried these, but I am sure they are delicious!

Another addition to the box is a year of Women’s Health subscription for free. This excites me, however I could see that others wouldn’t get excited about this. I’m wondering how this box relates to Fitness, but I suppose that’s my own personal opinion. Overall, this was a good box. Not my favorite, but good.

What did you receive in your box?

{If you got the nail polish, I want to hear your thoughts! I am jealous I didn’t receive it, as it looks very interesting!}

Birchbox : March

 Yes, I couldn’t resist to go ahead and give you a {Sneak Peak} of my Birchbox because I’m absolutely obsessed.

Did I say obsessed?

I mean my most favorite box I have received in the 4 months I’ve gotten the ‘infamous PINK box’ in the mail.

(Which, if you know me…You will know this.)

Incoco : Nail Polish Applique

I have just tried these out and i’m ever so obsessed. I have never used nail strips, so i’ve always wanted to know how easy they really are. Or perhaps…how difficult! But, after trying them…they are super easy! And they stay on extremely well. I’ve had many compliments, so of course…they are cute!

Madewell for Birchbox : Emery Board

Caldrea : Body Lotion

Tea Olive Lime, Aloe Water Apricot, and Coconut Fig

Birchbox : December & January

I’ve had a few request to see what I got in my previous month’s BIRCHBOX (for those who are thinking about possibly ordering it for themselves), so I have decided to do a quick post on them with just a few pictures.

My December box was the first one I had ever gotten, so to say I got excited when I saw it in my mailbox is a complete understatement. I was beyond ecstatic to see what I got!

My Second Box…

For those of you who sent me a message about my boxes, I hope this helps!

Hair Me Out

One of the most important parts of a girls every day life.

Today I decided I would tell you all about my favorite things that I use to do my hair.

The shampoo I use, I am absolutely obsessed with. No, really. I am.
I don’t travel without it and if I think I’m getting close to being out, I will quickly buy a new supply just so I don’t have to use something else.

I would’ve never in my life thought that this shampoo would be as wonderful as it is when I first picked it up off of the shelf.

L’OREAL Ever Pure

Sulfate Free : Color Care System (Which doesn’t strip the color out, for those of us who color our hair)
Personally, I use the Volume because I have very thin hair.
Then…The smell…My most favorite part of my shower every morning.
Rosemary Juniper.
Who could possibly ask for a better smell in the morning when you are trying to wake up, yet don’t want to.

Next, I use REDKEN Straight Lissage.

This bottle comes in a pump form, which is awesome because it measures out for you how much to use each time.
First, I squirt the small amount into my hand and then rub my hands together and put into my hair from the crown down. I try to not put much on the top, so my hair will not turn into grease immediately.
Then I use a comb and go through all of my hair to make sure it is all de-taingled. I choose to use a comb, because it is not so harsh on the hair and doesn’t pull all of my hair out. (I must keep all that I have since it is so thin!!)
Now of course, the most important part comes next and that is the blow dryer.
I’m obsessed with mine.
I have tried others, and I can always tell a difference in how my hair feels.

So, I use the CHI Pro.

This blow dryer is honestly the best investment I’ve made.
Yes, its expensive, but so worth it. {$150.00ish}
If you are lucky, I will occasionally curl my hair. {Currently, my hair is very, very naturally straight}. So, you better catch me on a special occasion.

 Pro Nano Curling Iron

This thing is AMAzing.
It spins while you are curling your hair.
Crazy, I know. I couldn’t understand the first time I tried using it…But, now I’m possibly on the level of a semi-pro.

What do you use to get your ‘hair ready’?

BIRCHBOX : Feburary

The infamous PINK box has arrived!

I can hardly contain my excitement each time I get this little joy in my mailbox.

This month has some great things included in the box–

Color Club : Nail Polish in Wild Cactus

First, I am ever so excited about this GREEN nail polish for St. Patrick’s Day!

How perfect!

{Full-size $8}

Lancome : BI-FACIAL Eye Makeup Remover

Eye Makeup Remover is a must for all.

{Full-size $28}

SKIN&Co Roma : Cleansing Body Gel with Olive & Sicilian Orange Extracts

I have never used a cleansing body gel so I am very anxious to try this.

(Yes I have already put a bit on my hands, but of course I must try it again after I shower in the morning!)

{Full-size $17.50}

Twistband : Thick Headband

I have been a huge fan of the twist bands. I love, love, love them. I got one in my December box and I wear it almost daily!

This one, however is not just a ‘hairband’ it is a ‘headband’. Ekkkk!!!

I have never been a huge fan of headbands because they start to hurt when they press into my head. However, this one does not do that! It is soft elastic and will be able to stay on my head all day! Also, it doesn’t leave a crease. What more can you possibly ask for?

{Set of 6 $20}
Then, of course…since it is Valentines month, we HAD to get some type of chocolate!

In my box I received a Ghirardelli Milk & Caramel Square.

(You all should be so proud of me, because I have not even taken a bite of it yet! For those of you who know me, know that I’m not a huge chocolate fan, however I do love these little delights! I am just waiting for the perfect time to eat it!)

I will do another post with my previous months so those of you who do not have BIRCHBOX can see the other goodies I got!

Stay Tuned–
