Thankful Thursday
It's not happy people who are thankful, It's thankful people who are happy.
On the gloomy-rainy day, it only seems appropriate to remember what I am thankful for. This week I am thankful for many things, however I have managed to narrow my list down to 5.
So, here you have it…
- Not only sharing Easter with my family, but also enjoying the delicious food that goes along with every holiday.
- Enjoying all things homegrown.
- Going out-of-town for a dear sweet friends wedding.
- Being able to work out (
although I am currently so sore, I am hating myself for going to the gym). - Finding a place for myself in the ‘blogOsphere’.

Manicure Monday
Since the weather has finally started to warm up a bit (hopefully I am not jinxing anything)! But, I decided to get into the ‘Spring Spirit’ with this manicure.

MIA St. Patrick’s Day Style
Yes, I know my poor blog needs some TLC. I have been out of town and then I just haven’t gotten a chance to get on and post. Since, as we all know…post take a while. Quite a while.
So, to catch you up…I will add my post (after this) of my absolutely fabulous March BIRCHBOX. It is by far the best one I’ve received thus far!
Now, for those of you who know me know that I love HOLIDAY’s!

With that being said, of course I had to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this past weekend and there is no better place to celebrate than Savannah, GA!
How BEAUTIFUL is this picture from the parade?
My dear sweet lovie came into town and we got to celebrate with friends all weekend long. It was very much needed for both he and I. Of course, who doesn’t need some good celebrating with friends time? I think we all do! Maybe you could add a few, yes, I said FEW bev’s in there..and it will make it even better!
To make a short story as short as possible….Justin (the lovie) had to move 10 hours away for work. I have been up to visit him, but he has not been here since I have gotten Jen’s…So, this was their first chance to meet. She was very scared at first (and may still be), but she started warming up to him. Possibly because it was forced. He fell in love with her–I mean how could you not?
Do you see them cuddling in the top middle picture? Ahhh…Go ahead. I know you want to say it too. Ahhhh.
Jen’s also loves Holiday’s. And the clothes that go along with them–
Now that I’ve got you a BIT caught up…I am no longer MIA. I am back!
However, right now I must go take a bath with my dear Vino, and then watch a movie.
ps…I’m already anxious to go back and have Oysters! Lauryn Pumpkin get to packing!
BIRCHBOX : Feburary

Twistband : Thick Headband
I have been a huge fan of the twist bands. I love, love, love them. I got one in my December box and I wear it almost daily!
This one, however is not just a ‘hairband’ it is a ‘headband’. Ekkkk!!!
I have never been a huge fan of headbands because they start to hurt when they press into my head. However, this one does not do that! It is soft elastic and will be able to stay on my head all day! Also, it doesn’t leave a crease. What more can you possibly ask for?

Then, of course…since it is Valentines month, we HAD to get some type of chocolate!
In my box I received a Ghirardelli Milk & Caramel Square.
(You all should be so proud of me, because I have not even taken a bite of it yet! For those of you who know me, know that I’m not a huge chocolate fan, however I do love these little delights! I am just waiting for the perfect time to eat it!)

Manicure Monday : President’s Day Style
This week I decided to go with a silver to celebrate President’s Day!
Also, since I am still in the Valentines spirit, I wanted to keep a bit of sparkle.
I found the perfect color.
Very light silver with a little sparkle.
Polish Used :
O.P.I. : Stars In My Eyes
I love the sheerness of this polish. This polish would also be a pretty wedding choice I think because it has that ‘special sparkle’, but it is not overpowering.
